Pocket carry PM9

Do you use the Pearce Grips when pocket carry? The gun feels better in my hand with them. Does it look real blocky? I wear a lot of Docker type dress shorts, a S & W 642 does not print . What about the Kahr. I am trying to talk myself into buying one, lol. Thanks for any info.

Ref: how I carry my Kahr, I try to
stay with the smallest possible footprint,
after all, thats what it excels at (in 9mm).
But you gotta decide what works best for you.

Perhaps the Hogue Jr grip will work for you, it does for me.

I find the PM9 to print a little more, because the grip comes out at 90 degrees to the slide, where the j-frame is angled more up and out.

The are both great though.

I still use the pearce grip when I pocket carry my PM9 since it's so much more comfortable to shoot it. I've got large pockets so it fits. I know it prints more, but I've never been asked what's in my pocket since with a pocket holster it doesn't look like a gun.

When I pocket carried my PM9, I would use the 7-round mag, both for the extra round and because I could shoot with it better than the 6-round mag. I never got the Pearce Grip floorplate.

Does it print? It all depends on your pocket holster. Something like a Miika will reduce printing over a more snug fitting holster. Ones with squared off bottoms will make it look more rectangular (wallet-like) than others. Personally, I've never noticed any reaction out of anyone even when wearing tighter pants where you can clearly notice the gun-like shape of it...I'm not saying I wasn't made, but it was never an issue.

I pocket carry my PM9 with Pierce grip everyday in a Desantis Nemasis. No one has ever said anything.

I routinely pocket carry a PM9, but without the Pearce grips. I only use the 6 round mag. My PM9 has been reliable. Touch to beat 7rds +p 9mm ammo in a pocket gun.

I pocket carry a P3AT. I had the pinky extension on it, I don't know if this is what is meant by the pierce grip, and I did not like the way it printed. I find flat bottom mags with a pocket holster that extends down from the barrel to make a square shape works the best. The grip of the gun and the bottom of the pocket holster make it look like a wallet in the pocket.

Nemesis

I carry my stock PM9 in a Desantis Nemesis in my right front pocket. I wear slacks, kakis or jeans and it is not noticable when standing. When sitting it just looks like I have a wallet in my pocket. No one has ever said anything.
