This Is An Interesting Walther PPK/S Holster
Notice the very extreme forward cant.
I took the photo with the belt positioned exactly horizontal so that you can see how far forward the Walther PPK/S is canted forward for carry. This was originally made/designed for my Wife to wear with jeans and a light cover top. It absolutely disappeared carried OWB behind the strong side hip under an untucked top and it pulled the firearm in very tight. The holster worked great. Unfortunately the firearm did not work out very well for my Wife since she lacked the finger and hand strength to operate the Walther slide. So it has been pretty much relegated to the unused holster pile. I've carried the Walther in it a few times since on those light local days and as a Wedding & Bar Mitzvah rig. I just donned it myself yesterday for a baptism & it IS super nice and comfy. Just thought I would show it to you folks since I just came across again it a couple of days ago. Some females might want to use it as inspiration for having a custom "smaller pistol" holster made that fits the female form a bit better than some other OWB designs. Enjoy. |

Wow, that really does lean forward. Nice...The PPK/S is such a cool little gun that just seems to vanish no matter where you put it.

With that degree of cant, could that actually be a SOB holster?

A local maker...real nice guy (since passed away) positioned the Walther behind her hip at that angle and then built the holster around that angle.
So no it never was intended to be a SOB holster but (for sure) you're correct that it sort of looks like one.

It seems like it would be hard to draw with that extreme of a cant. Not a natural position for me anyway.
