Taurus PT945 similar to Kimber??
I just inherited a Taurus PT945 and I am in need for a holster. Most of my holsters are for the 1911's and this Taurus will not fit into them. I admit that I do not know much about this style of gun so I suspect it is physically like the Kimber (am just guessing here) or one of the other non-1911's..so what I really need is, what comparison (gun) could I use to find a holster for this older Taurus 45.

The 945 looks more like a Beretta than a 1911.
![]() Doing a cross reference on Galco's website, it lists the Scout IWB for the Taurus PT945 as having a model number of SCT248, that number matches to the Scout IWB for the Browning BDA 45, and the Sig 220 w/ no rail. The BDA 45 is the early version of the Sig 220 Might want to try a Sig holster. |
