When you have the gun at 4-4:30, does the muzzle print at all, seeing as the kydex doesn't cover a large chunk of the slide up front?

Nope, the 1911 is so thin that you can't see it...at all. Hope yours comes soon, man. Mine took about two weeks exactly. The good thing is mail delivers on Saturdays, unlike UPS. I'm keepin my figers crossed for ya!

From my understanding;

It's only illegal if you're at, into, leaving or passing through the portion of the establishment (restaurant, bar, nightclub) that is [devoted] to the purpose of SERVING alcohol.

I got most of that info from "Florida Firearms Law, Use & Ownership, 6th Edition 2006 by Jon H. Gutmacher, Esq., specifically, page 68.

There is nothing illegal that I know, about drinking and concealed carry. Wether you can physically or psychologically handle a gun with alcohol in your system is another topic.

Most of the crap on a Friday or Saturday night goes down in the wee hours anyway, why wouldn't I want to carry then?

Speeding is illegal but i do it all day long. I feel more conscious of my speeding and breaking that law than I do carrying my gun for the defense of me, my family and friends.

Just some thoughts...........................

Sorry for the off topic rant................................

Just ordered my Supertuck. Wife will find out in morning when she wakes up .

Better to ask forgiveness later than permission now.

Question? I'm fairly overweight. Any idea how this might work for me? With a full size 1911.

I find the Wranglers even fit better with an IWB. LOL

The belt looks very nice, but their holsters just don't do it for me.

While I realize that it's in my pants and no one can see it, a more finished look means something to me.

Holsters are perhaps the most personal aspect of all carry solutions. My preferences are just what I find to work best for me.
