Ballistic Briefcase Holster?

I have a softside briefcase or laptop case over my shoulder much of the time. What would y'all think of a flat, bullet-resistant, pouch insert (lightweight 2nd Chance vest-type material) that, when installed, made the briefcase essentually (pistol) bullet-proof. And this pouch was designed to accept the mounting of holsters and mag carriers (inside the pouch) for easy access if the top of the case was unzipped. I've tried briefcase carry before, but my CCW & gear always slide around & get tangled/lost among my business jazz. A dedicated pistol area in my case with good, repeatable access for draw, that ALSO can be used to protect my center mass...seems like a viable idea.

What do y'all think?

Bullet-proof Briefcase Level IIIA
[PDLLEACS]

A smart brown leather briefcase that can be used to carry documents as normal. In the event of the user being fired at the case can be flipped open, with a quick relase, and held up for use as a ballistic shield. The case includes NIJ level IIIa panels that protect against all handguns up to a .44 magnum, please refer to our ballistic chart for more information on protection levels.

Both the top and bottom sections of the case contain the ballistic protection and as the case opens to 180 degrees the protection area is increased by double, from 32x42cm to 65x42cm.

Size
32 x 42 x 6.5cm (Briefcase closed)
65 x 42 x 3.5cm (Briefcase open)

Yeah, I was aware of Bullet-Proof Briefcases being available. But notice they don't mention anything about having any holster/mag capability or access. I was thinking more as a retro-fit for existing (softside) briefcases with the ability to serve as holster/mag-carrier incorporated into the inserted ballistic pouch.

I have a clipboard that I used for traffic stops that was ballistically rated. That may be something to consider.
Here is a link for briefcase inserts and clipboards:
