I'm looking at an AKJ Concealco, IWB for a full size 1911. Anyone have any experience with these?

I've used their revolver holster and found it well made, comfortable and it had good concealment. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I have one for a Colt Combat Cobra and had one for a 1911. Well made, comfortable and a great guy to do business with!

I highly recommend his work. Hopefully will have mine by the end of the week for a 3.5" Para. Will post a pic or two of course!

Thank all of you for the feed back. The design looks interesting with the front belt loop, like it is. Sounds like a winner.

I have one for my Glock 21. Great value, has held up very well over the past year, and some months.

I have a LH one for a EMP for a couple of months. It is very comfortable and easy on and off. Gun reholsters very well. The holster and mag pouches are very well built. I think its an excellent value.

I really liked mine for the Glock, it tucked into the side great... However, I found that the Glock is just too thick for my tastes IWB and will stick with 1911's as you are. The wait was just over 13 weeks for me on one with a sweatshield. On the other hand, I called Sam Andrews today and ordered a MacDaniel II that was in stock. You ought to try him out too. He keeps 1911 models on the shelves. Nice guy.

I have one for my Colt Defender, which is my EDC.
Great holster! No complaints! Very short lead time. I would think a slightly longer barrel (full size 1911) might tuck in closer. |
