Does anyone carry a 1911 5" in a SOB holster? If so what kind and pics???

Couldn't pay me to. Potential slip/fall injuries, difficult draw, sweep everyone or yourself, can't sit, prints like crazy unless you're standing straight up all day.

This Q has come up numerous times. Owned a Galco SOB and the SOB doesn't stand for "Small of Back". Dumped it like a hot iron.
1. Uncomfortable/Unbearable when seated. 2. Hard to reach. 3. Sweep everyone to your sides when drawing. 4 Prints like crazy when you bend over. Like Nancy Reagan said " Just Don't Do It"!!!

There are MUCH better choices than a SOB holster... I too won't use one, especially with a 1911!

The only thing I carry SOB is my glove pouch on my Duty Belt. It's soft, so it acts as padding.
My horizontal sheath for my off duty fixed blade is carried to the right of SOB. Nothing hard goes over the spine, ever, 'nuff said.  Biker
