Milt Sparks IBAK Experience?

I'm planning to order an OWB holster for carry of my Glock 26, and need some advice.

I ask that you respond if you've had experience with a Milt Sparks OWB holster.

A few years ago I had a Milt Sparks 55BN for my 26, and found that it didn't hold the pistol very close to the body in the grip area. So, I'm considering the IBAK.

Anyone have experience with the IBAK? Let me know your thoughts.

Thanks.

I have used the I-BAK for several years. It does hold the gun close to the body. My only objection is that it does not have a body shield. I do not think there are any that do it better.
If the body shield is not an issue the I-BAK is a top notch OWB holster, and I would highly recommend it based upon my personal experience.

Regards,
Jerry

No experience with the I-BAK, but I dearly love my Axiom. I was worried about the belt loops causing bulk, but they don't. They just taper away from the gun.

I had an IBAK for G19 for a while. Top notch quality, as you would expect from MS. My only beef with it was that the holster took up a lot of belt line room, i.e., it's a long holster measured from belt loop to belt loop. As such, it was hard to move around and find just the right spot for it (for me).

I did like the fact that, unlike a regular scabbard, the IBAK had a sort of spacer that provided constant retention, regardless of how tight your belt is. It's hard to describe, but if you look at the holster from the top down you'd see what I mean.

Yes, I like the look of the Axiom, but they don't make it for Glocks....

You may want to consider the Brommeland Def-Con OWB holster.

It is a custom holster with belt slots specifically designed to hold the butt of the gun very tight against the body and unlike the Sparks I-BAK, it does have a leather body guard to keep the gun from digging into your side.

Oh yeah... and usually no waiting time from Coal Creek Armory (The only dealer who keeps Brommeland holsters in stock on a regular basis)

I got my Max-Con IWB in 5 days!
