MTAC VS Crossbreed holster
I currently have the MTAC holster and am happy with it. Does anyone own both? I'm curious as to what the differences are between them. Which one is more comfortable and why? Which one is better suited for being tuckable? What are the differences in the ease of pulling out the weapon? They look nearly identical in workmanship.

I have both and prefer the MTAC. There was another thread here that covered the same topic. I posted more details in that thread.

I have both....I prefer the M-Tac for the following reasons:
the clips on M-tac slide over the belt and are easier to remove than the J-clips of the Crossbreed. The Crossbreed feels too wide to me. The M-tac allows you to buy new kydex inserts for to switch off to a different gun. The only advantage the Crossbreed has is a more reasonable price. |

I have both as well and concur with bzdog. The MTAC has a much nicer finish and is narrower than the Crossbreed. The clips are also more substantial with a greater variety. One nice feature of the MTAC is that you can purchase additional kydex shells to fit different guns.
If I had it to do over, I would only own the MTAC.

I have both and prefer the Crossbreed over the MTAC. Sure the fininsh is nicer on the MTAC - but who cares - it will be hiding. You can order any style of clip that you prefer on either one - so don't let that be a factor. The MTAC is too stiff because of their shell swap out. They have to utilize more material (both leather & Kydex) to achieve this. This makes the MTAC a little less comfortable and less concealable.

I am close to choosing the mtac myself, however, what do current owners recommend concerning the clips? Standard, J-clips?? Thanks
