appendix carry with this rig anyone?

I have been using this carry method alot the last week with my colr officers model, but it got me to thinking about how many of my fellow DC members find this carry position comfy and very concealable? I also use to carry a glock 17,19 and even a full size 1911 like this. Also anyone here ever use ken null's gbs rig for this?,ken tells me its designed for just this purpose.

As I understand it the inventer of the summer special rig,the late Bruce nelson carried this way often. So who else here finds this position just works for them? And do you feel that body type has more to do with carrying larger guns appendix than anything else?

I carry a 642 in a fist k-8 kydex tuckable holster appendix position since it's the most comfortable for me and allows easy access to my weapon in a sitting postion esp.in a car if I needed it. Not sure about a weapon such as a full size 1911 since I've never carried a full size pistol.

I don't know how you bend over with any gun of size. It jambs between my stomach and my thigh.

I've carried a J-Frame and a Model 10 snubbie in the appendix position. I cannot imagine doing it with a full-size 1911. Maybe a 3" 1911. I just purchased a Colt New Agent and will be giving it a try appendix style.

G19/23 in Appendix about half of the time I carry. Working my way up to full time appendix carry because I find the presentation time to be quicker. Not as comfortable as strong side, but you can get used to that.

Friend carries only appendix with M&P9's Think it's the C model.

1911luver, I shot a look at Ken's gear. Very nice but there is a slight muzzle rear cant. I guess I was wrong (wrong, wrong, wrong again!). Thought that Appx. carry was a straight drop or pointing at....ouch!

I carry a S&W 6906 this way. I carry it at about 1 o'clock with a cant to the rear. The 6906 has a 3.5 inch barrel. It's the most comfortable carry for me.

J-frames or Kel-tecs get carried appendix in my Minimal Clip. Depends on how big is the tire around the middle is for comfort.
