I am doing this as well. Both have regular carry duty for me depending on the situation. The Crossbreed is as comfortable as the Sparks for me, but the Crossbreed is more of a utilitarian/work holster. The Sparks is more my out and about holster. More "formal" maybe? Kinda like the difference between what is a B.D.U./duty appropriate holster and a Class A/dress appriate holster, that both fit their given niches perfectly. I wouldn't give up either on! My opinion would be to get the Crossbreed now, and order a VMII for the future. After all it's gonna be six months before you get it anyway. Put away $20 bucks a month and by the time the Sparks needs to be payed for you'll have enough saved up. Can't go wrong really because if you dislike one of the two, enough people on this forum and others would buy either one off your hands for what you paid and with the Sparks maybe a bit more than you paid.

I have a VM-II for all my CCWs because to me it's the best money can buy! Worth every penny and worth a very long wait too!

Get a good OWB holster to hold you over.
