Anyone carry in a waist pack?

Does anyone have experience carrying in a waist pack? pros & cons ?
Besides Galco who makes one of quality?
I'm in Las Vegas where you see hundreds of tourists wearing them daily so recognition is not a factor.

I have used one from time to time. It is sometimes convenient, but be sure it is attached to the belt. Otherwise when you attempt to rip it open it will not open because it is too loose. Keep it tight and it works OK.

I bought mine at a gunshow years ago, and it does not have a name on it.

I have found it convenient when traveling as I can put it on the floor, but put it on when I get out.

Regards,
Jerry

I travel to and from work in civilian clothes. My uniforms live in the locker there. I carry to and fro in an Eagle LE-WFP which is their LE version of the fanny pack. Holds creds, light, cuffs, mags and of course, the pistol (G19). The whole shebang fits neatly into my patrol bag for the tour. With that being said, it look like just what it is, a gun bag. Off duty I do not use it at all.

I see lots of them (fanny packs) in FL, and I have used one on rare occasions...I don't necessarily think gun when I see one.
I find it to be much bulkier than an IWB holster...OMO

Now my wife has one that is a flat, very thin, leather pouch. It can't be seen under her over-hanging shirt...she likes it. She hates belts and holsters, so for her, it works out very well.

Stay armed...stay safe!

I have a Coronado that I bought many years ago. Very well made and has a snap that goes over your regular belt.

I still sometimes use it.

I have a Safepacker holster which I use from time to time. Most people don't have a clue what it is. It holds a gun and a reload. It has many options only one of which is attached to the belt. Take a look you might like it.

The Camelback Goblin is excellent. Look just like a fanny pack but has a hidden gun compartment.

Well, like a bunch of guys I had to get a fanny pack... it's very nice and well made. I bought a Hawke Pack. I NEVER use the damn thing though!

Las Vegas? Florida? Really popular with "tourists?" ;-)

I wonder what special "goodies" are hiding in those pouches and fanny packs! One tip to better conceal is to also keep "normal" items like keys, wallet and cell phone in the pack too. Just use the hidden compartment for your hideaway.
