If you just cut the clip of a iwb holster and drop it in your pocket, it does not magically become a pocket holster. A good pocket holster will keep the gun in place. That will help reduce printing.
Below is my pocket carry - carried about everywhere. I'd carry a cardfold walltet in the same pocket (away from the body) and it was never an issue. It's about as thick as a regular wallet. That's an AMT BU DAO WXYZ Last edited by Shizzlemah; May 3rd, 2008 at 11:33 PM.. Reason: fixed link |

Agreed. I was at a shirt and tie affair today and the LCP came along in my makeshift Uncle Mike's pocket holster. Yea the gun moves around a bit but I tried the Galco in my front pants pocket and again, too thick and bulky. I'm either going to go with the Nemesis or the Fist K5. I'm sure before it's all said and done I'll end up with both of them but what the heck. I've got a box of holsters under my bed I don't use. What's 2 more? My friends love me because I do all the holster scouting and by the time they get around to buying CC holsters I've already made all the mistakes and they save money.

I use a Ron Graham "Reno" for my Seecamp LWS .32 and it is just about perfect. No printing and very easy to draw. This holster is very well made and I am sure will be passed on long after I am gone.

I carry a Rossi 462 2" in a DeSantis Nemesis Pocket Holster, with no problems. It stays put and offers a quick draw.

Good luck in your search.
If I recall correctly the LCP is about 1/3 inch narrower, an inch less long, about an inch or so shorter and weighs under 1/2 what a G 27 does. It "should" pocket carry easier. No dog in this discussion but it seems your gun-pants pocket-holster combo is outta whack. I easily carry a KelTec P3 front pocket in a Mikes #1 -- I cut the existing vertical trigger guard seem out so the gun could be shoved further down ... then re-sewed it. Stable, strong, solid, slender, useful and cheap ... just like me. How's the LCP shoot? My KT is great but I do like the Ruger brand for revolvers anyway.

I pocket carry in jeans and dockers shorts. 360 M&P in a Safariland pocket holster. Sig P232 and Walther PPK/s in a Uncle Mikes #2. Shirt goes untucked.
Some clothes work well for pocket carry, for others, IWB is sometimes better. |

Another vote for the Desantis nemesis. I love mine. Blackhawk! makes a good one too, but I like the nemesis better. I'd like to try a superfly for my P32.

x2 on the Mika for my 642. I have the Round Cut, and love it. I also have a Nemesis that I still use occasionally in square cargo pockets, etc., but the Mika is my everyday pocket holster. Great guy to work with as well. Robert Mika is good people!

x3 on Mika. 442 in front pocket is the main way in the summer for me. NO PRINT what so ever in cargo shorts.
Ocassionally I carry my Guardian in a Desantis Nemesis. It works very good but actually prints more than my .38 in the Mika...go figure. |
