I'm not fatboy97 (well, I am fat) but I'm fairly confident that what he meant was why would anyone pay over $500.00 on Ebay for the same holster that they could buy from a stocking retailer like you for $145.00.

cvhoss,

We too wish we could get product which we see far and few in between. As it is now we do not have a single 3" in house.

I too took it as if fatboy97 was pointing out that there were other resources for quicker delivery than 500 clams on ebay.

Not a dig to you LAS, but rather a kudo I believe.

The winning bid on that holster was $535.
WOW! I'm really curious if the buyer will be upset. You know at first, when I saw the bid was at $400, I looked at the picture and I'm thinking hummmmm....I wonder if people are looking for a Milt Sparks VMII for 3" 1911 THAT HAS THE EXTRA LEATHER AT THE BOTTOM?. But now, if you guys are saying there is no such thing, then I wonder?

BTW, I too have a black VM II for 3" 1911 WITHOUT the extra leather.

It seems like there's quite a few people now on eBay trying to "cash-in" on the Sparks frenzy. I'd bet that many of those people actually intended to use the holsters they ordered, but decided to put them up for sale after seeing what they're going for.

Business is business. I wouldn't sell my MS holsters. I like them too much. Would I pay more than current retail? Possibly. Depends upon cash on hand. I wouldn't mind finding one for my G30. I'm waiting on one for a 1911 from MS now. 5 more months.
