VM2 Style Holsters - Tuckable??

I've read a bunch on the VM2 style holsters and most seem to carry with shirt un-tucked. I always wear my shirts tucked and am currently using a MTAC and works very well. I'm curious to know if you can tuck around the snaps on a VM2 style, like I can with the clips on the MTAC. I know they make clips for the VM2, but what if you just used the standard snaps? I've not handled one in person, but can't figure out why it would not work. Appreciate any thoughts.

I have one. There tuckable clips.

I have a VM-II with the tuckable clips they go underneath the belt and put the weight of the gun on the pants. You can tuck your shirt just like a M-TAC

I saw that, but didn't what to hijack that thread. Thought I would start a new one to address the tuckable part specifically. Looking for some good feedback from experienced users.

Its okay. However, I'm going to take the clips off and use it as I use the VM-II the way it was really supposed to be used.

VMII tucked with leather snap straps...
The wild print shirt helps hide it in these pics, but it is possible if you take time to blouse the shirt... The VMII pulls the gun in tight and makes it pretty easy to do.

Here are pics of just about every angle... USP40c in a cordavon VMII...

You may want to look into Bluegrass Holsters' Mason Dixon IWB/OWB tuckable leather holster. The unique thing about it is that it uses leather snaps attached to leather "arms" to allow tucking behind the snaps. http://www.defensivecarry.com/vbulle...available.html

. You know how 'objective' some of them writers are.

To ME, the kydex VMII clips are worthless, same types problems as with those MTAC c-clips-slipping off during the draw or even sitting. Puckering the pants where they pull the fabric. Got so damn disgusted I tossed them where they belong.

Now something like the Blue-Grass clips might be worth looking into.
