Finally decided to give one a try. First, I'll say that Charlie provided excellent service and speedy shipping. First class guy.
The holster. I have to say, even after reading how much people here like them, I had my doubts. But the darn thing works. It really works well. Drawing takes some getting used to, but I have worn it two full days now, one in the office and today, while I was out on a cleanup project in a city park. It's comfortable, accessible and secure. Doesn't chafe, doesn't sag or bang me in the privates. I am glad I ordered it for my P-11, though. I considered getting it for my Glock 22, but I just don't think that would be comfortable when sitting. Maybe I'll give it a try, though. I think any small to mid size frame would be fine, though. Great holster! Well worth the price.:kier:

I use a SmartCarry with an M&P 45 4.5" barrel. Learning to sit comfortably was the only challenge I had with it. I learned that when I hike my pants before I sit I could just grab the SmartCarry with my thumbs at the same time. The M&P is nearly vertical when I sit. By the end of the second week of carrying, it was a natural part of my day.

wanna see a fat man wearing it??? thought you might. It's looser fitting so I have no problem with anything up to a xd45. My regular is glock 27 and taurus 651 revolver.
front view, normal pants. flattering side view. though 2 sizes smaller then I was just 5 months ago. Shorts, instead of underwear..family sight and all. outside sewing job. just a milk jug, cut out. Probably never need it, but i've been doing it to all my sc's for 4 years. ![]() |

I gotta say I like this idea of carry for the times to really need to conceal. Or perhaps as a starter holster so you arent as worried of being "made".
Being male, if someone is staring at my junk Im hoping its a female, and if they see a "print" of sorts, Im hoping they just like what they see... ![]() No, but seriously it seems like a really good method of carry. I think I will get one along with a VM-2. |

I use a smartcarry for my 3" colt defender and extra mag but if I'm carrying my BUG I use a cell phone pal, I find its more comfy and I can draw my pistol faster.

I love my smartcarry! But I wear mine a little differently - it works quite well as an IWB at 3:00 for my M&P9C...
