Nylon should never be used as a holster, muchless a shoulder holster. Make sure you really want a shoulder holster before buying one. I find them to be very uncomfortable. They often print badly, youmust reach across your body to get the pistol, it takes two hand to holster, and you still need a belt to tie it down to. If you are going to get one, make sure it is leather and spend the money on a good one.

I have a PM9 and have been happy with the Galco Classic Lite for that small gun. Not the most expensive shoulder holster out there, but it is light, comfortable and holds the gun in the right position with minimal movement and/or printing.

The shoulder holster that I use most is the Deep Concealment Shoulder Holster. It conceals much better (with my tiny Kel-tec PF-9) than the Falco does with my fullsize M&P40. There's no surprise there. It works well, except the small gun slips a little too deeply into the holster "pocket". |

I'm seeing 2 shoulder holsters in my future: deep concealment initially and the Andrews when I get a little more "fluid."
Thanks again for the information folks. I greatly appreciate it. |

I am a little perplexed that one would buy a shoulder holster (not a t-shirt with pocket in it), but a classic shoulder holster for a small gun like a PM9. There is way more leather (holster) then metal (gun). If someone is going to wear a classic leather shoulder holster, why not get at least a service size pistol for it?
Now t-shirt holsters I can understand using them for small handguns. |

The Galco Classic Lite has less material than normal shoulder holsters. It's matched well for my PM9. As for the reasons, some include: I don't wear undershirts; the shoulder holster is easier to take off and put on; it's a quicker draw than a under-shirt holster (un-doing buttons, etc.); and, it's more confortable than having that band around my chest. YMMV.

It's called the Miami Classic (by GALCO)and it's on sale for $138.37.. It is the most comfortable I've found. The phone # 1-800-251-7839, the holster must be more popular now, I paid closer to $200.00 twenty years ago. |
