I've had my super tuck for about 6 months now, can't get over how great a holster it is. Comfy and concealed, all holster should be this nice.

I have had the Crossbreed Super Tuck for quite a while now. I also have the MTAC, Highnoon and a couple of other IWB holsters. The Crossbreed is the most comfortable of them all. Some have the combat cut on the Crossbreed - mine does not and I have no issue drawing the gun. Try the Crossbreed - he gives you a two week trial period - if you do not like it - just send it back. My next choice would be the MTAC. Both have excellent customer service and generally quick turn around times.

I use both a Crossbreed ST and a Hi Noon "Split Decision" holster with my Kahr CW40. I generally use the CB for long extended carry and the HN for shorter durantion use. Both are good offerings and I think you would be happy with either depending on your needs.

Crossbreed with XDM?
I have a Crossbreed for my Sig 239SAS currently and am very pleased. I have to give my belt an "extra snug" to keep it from sagging. I love my Sig but am considering going to the new XDM for capacity. Any feedback on the CB Supertuck with an XDM?

I ordered the Crossbreed SuperTuck for my XD9 Service and I could not be happier with it. I've had it for a couple of weeks now, but just wore it for three days straight during every waking hour. Most of the time I have not even been aware it was there.
On support after the sale...... I am a lefty, and I evidently wasn't clear on the order, and received a right handed holder. E-mailed Mark at 7:30pm on a Tuesday, he said they would make a new one the next day, and I had it on and testing it out by noon Thursday. (+1,000 on customer service) Initial order took only 20 days to receive, replacement less than 40 hours from the time I let them know. WOW!!!! |

For me, comfortable without an under shirt. Even more comfortable with. Except in the summer. Quote:
I don't sweat much at all, and I live in a very humid climate. Humidity/wetness of the grip is not an issue. Never even would've thought about it until I saw this post. Quote:
My gun has a stainless slide and plastic frame, so there is no noticeable wear. I imagine a blued gun will show wear eventually. I doubt it would scratch the surface, unless your gun's finish was applied poorly, and your REALLY screwed up taking the gun out or putting it back into the holster. Besides, honest holster wear gives the gun character. ![]() Quote:

I have ordered the Highnoon Alter Ego (very pleased with the customer support at Highnoon). However, after reading the posts here suspect that one might want more than one holster to fit the situation. What makes the Crossbreed more comfortable than the MTAC? So I am thinking about also ordering either the Crossbreed or the MTAC -- maybe with the V-Clips. Thanks Mike |

This is just my opinion. Others that have both the Crossbreed & the MTAC might differ. But for me, the Crossbreed has less material and bulk - not only does it make it more comfortable - but also conceals just a smidge more from being thinner. Some like all that extra leather on the MTAC - but it is only there to cover up the mounting slots for the interchangeable kydex bodies - which also makes the MTAC a fair amount more stiff - which your do not want in IWB. Comp-Tac does make a Crossbreed version that I have not tried - without the interchangeable bodies. As I have said before, they both have excellent customer service. Having both brands - I would go with the Crossbreed. Again, just my personal experience.

Mike,
I've got a CrossBreed Supertuck for my Kahr CW9 and love it. I also carry a Kahr PM9, and although I usually pocket carry or Smartcarry the PM9, I have worn it in the Crossbreed also. It rides great! The grip on the PM9 is short enough that it doesn't extend past the leather sweat guard, so I've never had a problem with the grip getting wet/sweaty. The only thing I might do if I was going to carry the PM9 full time in the CrossBreed, would be to possibly get the combat cut. The PM9 is small enough that it can be a little tricky to get a full grip on it. I don't have the combat cut on my holster, but I never have any problems with the bigger CW9. Hope this helps some. Good luck.
