How about a J-Frame inside the bouquet?

-there is no quick-draw from a wedding dress
-there is very little chance of needing to be armed at a wedding
-some danger in carrying at a reception (or anywhere drunks are served)

these options are not mutually exclusive

option: borrow a P3AT to practice with in advance and then use a white ribbon with a neck holster

option: you're committing your life to this man, let him be responsible for carrying for both of you from the time you leave the bridal chamber (let your parents take it) until you two leave the reception (parents give it back to you)

That might work

How about an AR slung over your shoulder?

The leg holster might work but watch out of the garter toss time

She answered that question in the second line of her first post.

getting married in michigan, where it is.

yea. the garter will be on the other leg
and regarding the not needing to carry and the let my man carry comments, first, yes, i know the likelyhood thta i need it is slim, but thats not really the point. and as far as my man carrying, why??!!
I have a lot more places to hide it that he will anyways (he isnt wearing a suit). oh and about my parents holding on to it ...
apparently you never read my post about my parents reaction to finding out about my gun.
So i think ill try that holster. although really nobody has answered my questions...

What the?
Do it "Italian Style" (I'm not being racist, I'm Italian). At my wedding, the family was armed. We also had armed doormen, and drivers. That way you don't have to think about guns on your wedding night... But my family may be a little bit different than yours...

Congratulations on your wedding! The Galco thigh band has a strap to secure to a belt that prevents slippage. I've never heard of wearing a belt under a wedding dress, but I'm sure that you can figure something out. Don't forget to post up some pics!

Well, since you asked for other comments or sugestions....

I'll likely be in the minority here, but my heartfelt advice is, don't do it!

Unless you simply want to be able to say "I carried at my wedding" later in life, why would you want the hassle and responsibility that comes with arming yourself on a day that's supposed to be all about you? Trust me, there will be plenty of stress and challenge during the day, you don't need to add to it unnecessarily.

Regardless, congratulations and best wishes for a joyful life with your new hubby!
