In doing my research, here's what I found out from several people who have a large holster/belt box...

The Belt Man horse hide is generally thinner & stiffer than the bullhide. It is also stronger without a stiffener than the bull hide is with a stiffener.

If you go with the horse hide without stiffener, it is only $10 more than the bull hide with the stiffener.

I like my Wilderness Instructors belt, but LOVE my Belt Man belt!

The Belt Man horse hide is my #1. I have had it for 1 1/2 years and love it.

I currently have two Beltman belts... different colors. I'm sure I will adding another in the next year or so... excellent quality and craftsmanship... the first one is 3 or 4 years old now and I still wear it on a regular basis.

One of the ultimate leather gun belts is being made by Gibson ProRodeo but, I just checked and Bruce is not accepting any new belt orders right now.
I guess he is booked solid.

I went with the Horse hide belt from Beltman, without the stiffener, size 39 with 7 holes, black belt with black belt buckle.

I really hope I don't put on to much weight. I want this belt to last.
