Help me buy holsters for pm9 and p3at

Help me decide- I want an OWB for the 9, trying to decide between slide or snap-on, and retention strap or no. Normally I don't want a retention strap, but the OWB is mainly for outdoor/horse activities, and I'm thinking leather topless may not be secure enough with horses in the mix, what do you think? planning for worst case scenario, if an accident happened, I would not want to have to worry about my gun being forcefully thrown off my body if I forcefully come off a horse :) I do trust the plastic paddle holster I use for another gun to retain the gun...but the point of going OWB with the 9 is for summer coolness and convenience, not wanting anything extra (especially kydex) in my pants.

Now, for the p3at: I want a clip IWB, like I use for my pm9. I like the deep set of my desantis insider, but I wish it had a cant- I just position the clip crooked on my belt so it allows the muzzle to ride to the outside of my thigh rather than digging strait down when I sit. I carry at 2:00. Any suggestions for a deep set minimal clip IWB with a cant?

My first instinct was to click "no retention strap necessary," but actually reading your post has me less sure about that. It'd certainly be a bummer to notice a missing gun 8 miles down the trail. I can't speak for your choices, but a strap I think would be a good idea, just practice with it so it doesn't interfere with your draw.

Normally I would say no strap necessary, but for this application it can't hurt. also more secure with the traditional loops versus snaps.

Dave at little bear holsters is adding Kahr PM9 to his list I am waiting for one now. I have been very impressed with him so far. I can't wait to see the final product. Very good turnaround time and very fair pricing. His work looks good and I have herd good things.
