Cool Comp Tac Minotaur Gladiator Holster for Sig 229R???

Hello Everyone,

I was wondering if I can get your help and feedback. I have a Sig 229R I started to pull the trigger and get a Minotaur Gladiator Holster by Comp Tac, I have a paddle holster from them already and it is great. The customer service was also excellent. I want to take it up a notch and the Gladiator but, I haven't read many reviews about it good or bad. My main concern from what I read is it rides to low, someone like me couldn't get a shirt over and that's not good. Is this true about the Gladiator? If so can you intelligent people recommend some owb holsters that ride mid to high and close so I can get a shirt over. Please no iwb holsters not comfortable to me at all.

Thanks
JG

I really want one of these. Mitch Rosen from their express line of holsters (less wait time). I love straight drop holsters. I might break down and buy one sooner or later! Whatcha think? $75 but you definitely get quality from Mitch Rosen.

I've been looking at that same holster for my 229R. I have a Mitch Rosen Premier Full Detail that is beautiful for my 2000sk, but with the 229 being a bit bigger, I may have to go with the above! Definitely quality.

That is a beautiful holster, I 'm going to look it up. Does it ride close to your body?

I use a Bianchi carry-loc for my Sig P229 and it works very well. It doesn't peek out too often with the jeans, dress slacks, and shorts I wear. You won't be able to tuck your shirt into your pants.
