Sixto,
If I were you I would call and email him about your position. If I were him you would be placed at the front of the line with express shipping. Maybe someone has one you can borrow if yours won't make it in time. A thread about your need would surely turn up something. If I had one I would send it to you!!

Good Luck.

NCH

Sixto,
When I called Mica to check the status of my holster, he stated that LE and people with the need for getting a holster asap, go to the head of the line. He asked me numerous times if I was going on vacation and was in urgent need of my holster. I told him no, I would wait, and he continued asking me over and over again if I needed it asap. I think he was trying to get me to say I was in urgent need so that he could justify rushing my order. I declined and waited it out. If he can't get you a holster in time, I got mine a few weeks ago for a 637. If your pocket gun will fit in a 637 holster, I can send you my Mica to use for your qualification. Just drop it back in the mail to me when you are done with the range. I am in NC and can't mail it until later today or tomorrow, but if you think it will get to you from NC in time, and you want to borrow it, thats not a problem, just shoot me a pm. If not, then try calling Mica again, he is an easy guy to deal with. GOOD LUCK!!!

Thanks Jaystekan, thats a really nice offer but my holster should be here today or Friday at the very latest.

You are right, Mica is good guy to deal with. I've had a few converstations with him the last few days. It seems as if he has had a particular busy summer and something had to give. I give him credit for being honest and nice guy. I'll give a review once I get the holster; I have a few more orders planned for Mica, but I'm going to wait until this winter.

I didn't take advantage of being able to go to the front of the line, I just didnt feel right about doing that... I'm still able to carry a gun with plenty of alternative BUG options and my thought was maybe somebody couldnt carry at all until they got their order. So I waited like everyone else. Me not being able to carry my J frame was a inconveniance to me, nothing more.

Did you get an email saying it shipped yet? I did. The USPS tracking things stinks, and it doesn't really tell you much until after the fact. I'm going to the range at 8am, so I guess I've missed the boat again. I'll try to improvise to get approved to carry in my unorthodox manner.

No, I didn't get a email, but I changed net providers since I ordered the holster 3 months ago. At least he hasn't charged me yet, so I guess I can wait. I hope you get yours today.

I think unless it's priority mail it doesn't really have full tracking features. I had a package shipped first class recently & that's what they told me. I thought, what's the point of having tracking numbers if you can't track it?
