Lets get this thread back on track. If you wish to discuss the merits or faults of TT leather or holsters do so. Worrying about copyright infringement is better left to the lawyers.

Thumper, care to explain the differences? Thanks.

Sure... as I see it, the main difference is the quality of the leather. TT's holster is thinner leather and doesn't have as nice of a finish (I'm not talking about the shark) as the VM-II.

The VM-II is horse hide on the side against the body. I often wear my IWB against my skin in the summer and with the VM-II it's not a problem. The TT absorbs the sweat.

Also, I don't care for the straps swiveling on the TT, it makes the holster "less stable" to me.

I realize the whole thing about availability and that's why I have a TT. But as soon as my VM-II arrived, the TT went in to the ol' box-o-holsters.

My two cents!

Thumper, how long ago was that TT holster order, it looks like on his site he has changed up leather quality?

Any way come Tuesday morning I'm getting an Axiom from Sparks on order for Christmas :) and will try out one of TT's wrap around.

Thanks for the feedback

I've had the TT for about 5 months.

Very nice and comfortable. The edges are smooth and the leather is strong and high quality. Stitching tight and doesn't look like its gonna come loose anytime soon. Also, the reinforced mouth makes one handed reholstering a breeze. And the best part is the short wait on turn around.
