Help finding the right OWB for a Colt New Agent

I've been searching the threads and picked up a few hints but I'd like to ask any of you who have a Colt New agent or 3" 1911 which OWB holsters you've found that carry the gun the tightest to the side. I suspect some of you have tried several and found one to hold the butt closer to the side than others?

On different guns I've tried one OWB to find it left the butt feeling floppy and not pulled tight. then I'd try another maker's pancake OWB and it would pull the butt up tight!

I don't want to buy a lot.

Now I'm only 5' 7", about 165 lbs and about a 34" waist so that might influence some suggestions. I don't care if I can reholster one handed at all. I'm looking for the most concealable OWB to wear with a suit coat to church. I have a K&D OWB for my Ruger SP101 but that hasn't been too comfortable although I suspect its the guns shape more than the holster!

I've looked at/considered:

Kramer Scabbard
TT Gunleather Pancake
UBG pancake

So, if you've got a short barrelled 1911 and tried a number of pancake type OWB; what worked the very best for concealment/ I don't want snaps, it must be belt slots and It's not for range or under a winter coat, it's got to be tight!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have a LH Comp Tac C.T.A.C. for a 1911 slider, it is actually IWB. I use that when I can not pocket carry. I keep it at about 5 oclock, with a left hand cant I just put the back of my hand against my back and find the grips. I tried it with a RH cant but it feels awkward cocking my hand at that angle to draw. In work clothes I pocket carry. The slider is good if you plan on getting a Full Size 1911 it is made to hadle all barrel lengths.

I own a several holsters for a 3" 1911 and in my opinion you can't beat one made by Eric @ HBE Leatherworks. He just made me a pancake holster in all black shark. You won't find a better craftsman and it is the most comfortable holster I own. It fits my new agent like a glove. And I bet Eric will do it quicker than the options you're considering.

I love the pancake that Nate at UBG made for me.

You might be right about HBE; I just ordered a COM3 in waist band for this same gun and he called in less than 2 weeks to tell me he was going to cut leather and I could send my payment. I should have that in less than 2 more weeks so maybe I should check out that holster and if I like it, then order a pancake. I looked at his site and his pancake holsters seemed to ride a little low but maybe that's just the pics. As for UBG; I also have one of his coming (IWB) for a Kahr P9 so again, I'll get to see his work first hand. Maybe I'll wait and see how those two look?

Thanks for the inputs guys!
