New HBE Leather!

Well I have to report a stellar transaction with Eric at HBE. I emailed on 6/17/08 (A little more than 2 weeks ago) to ask about him making a OWB for my S&W 3913. He tells me it is no problem and his lead time was only 2 weeks. He took my info and told me he would contact me when he is ready to cut the leather and I could send payment via paypal at that time. He takes no money up front. I was a bit worried with all the issues I have read about here on these forums but I would have no hesitation ordering again.

I ordered a standard pancake OWB in Black Cherry color with a reinforced shark trim front in a neutral cant. I think it looks pretty slick. My only gripe is I think the bottom of the holster where the end of the barrel sits is a bit unfinished looking and maybe should have been better tapered off but besides that, it is a fine holster with turbo quick turn around and good customer service.

Thumbs up for HBE

I REALLY like seeing more and more of his holsters using a equal looking triangle accent. It just gives his holsters the perfect look. Skinny and other variations of a triangle just never look as well to me.

Very nice holster and good pictures. All holster makers should conduct business like that.

That's a beauty of a holster. Very nice. I wish the "black cherry" color showed up better on my monitor, but I think I get the idea. Really rich and nice.

Yup, great guy, great holsters. I used to have Josh Bulman make all my gear, wanted a new one and Josh seems to have disapeared, voice mail full and no e-mail answered. Found Eric, ordered the DC Tuckable in black sharkskin, great holster, my 239 is gone under a tight t-shirt(love appendix carry). I just ordered another in left hand so I can carry both if going into the bad lands. With 3 pocket mag holders it gives me 42 9mm's and nothing shows on a 5'11", 170 lbs wearing t-shirt. I like the t-shirt because it's 110 out here in Tucson and no one would suspect anything under a tight shirt.
