New HBE Holster
I am fairly new to CCW and my first IWB holster was a single clip design. Uncomfortable, kept moving around, I had to constantly re-adjust the thing.
After seeing pics of Sportsterguys new HBE Com III holster a few weeks ago, I called Eric. I was wanting the exact holster for my Glock 27. In nearly record time, I have a gorgeous Com III holster and double magazine holder. I just sent payment Saturday evening. Today, Thursday morning, a package arrives...no way that it's my holster...already? Indeed it's my holster. I cannot compliment Eric enough. Professional businessman and a true artist with leather. The holster and magazine carrier are perfect. Flawless workmanship and design. My employees who aren't gun people were amazed at the beauty of the leather. The comfort amazed me. Perfect fit. Compared to the previous (single point clip) holster that I wore, this thing is comfortable and stays stable. My pictures do not do this beautiful leather justice. ![]() ![]() Tim Last edited by JD; July 11th, 2008 at 11:51 PM.. Reason: replaced URL tags with IMG tags. |

Nice going, that's a great rig. Talk about hitting a home run your second time at bat!

That's not fair. Aren't you supposed to accumulate a whole box of holsters before you're allowed to get a really good one?
![]() But, seriously, that is one excellent rig. I've got a COM III and mag pouch on order with Eric for my Hi-Power. He's a great guy to deal with, and I'm thrilled that he's got his business turned around.

His holsters are looking better than ever.
I really love that exact style and colors that you have. I'd like to see a second set of stitching next to the gun personally just for the look, but I am sure he would do it if ya asked. (I prefer Rafter S belts for this same double stitched look) |

Akatim, Looks like Eric did you right!!!! Beautiful set to put it mildly!! Have mine on now with my HP and it is KA. Been wearing it constantly and it gets more comfy every day. Glad you love it. Stay safe and enjoy your new leather that shouldn't see a box for a long, long time.

Type of leather?
AKATIM,
Is that cow or horse? Looks like a winner, hands down. I like the color contrast. Eric does really nice work! Congrats on a great first custom rig.

It's made of cow in cordovan brown with the shark trim in black. It looks better in person, I just can't take pics worth crap.
I bet he would double stitch. Eric was great to deal with, he went beyond my expectations. Tim |
