v clips??

Hi guys

I have a MTAC holster, with the old standard clips, you know, the ones that goes bad.... now I will have to order new ones and also I will like to order a new belt... so help me decide.

Will I order a Beltman belt with the velcro linen to match the v-clips or should I order a standard clip and a regular Beltman belt?????

What is your recommendations base on your experiences with one set or both? Thanks in advance.

Do you have the need to tuck? If so, then V clips. I don't care what anyone says - if you have the need to tuck - then you have the need for v-clips. If there is no need to tuck - I would just do the standard - easier on/off and adjusting.

I ordered the V-clips and the standard clips with my MTAC (.40S&W P229 Sig) and have not even tried the V-clips yet. I use a semi-wide black belt (1.5 inches) and it works like a charm. I tuck it sometimes when i wear a suit in case I want to remove my jacket or the jacket were to flap open. I don't think the standard clips are very noticable.

I'm partial to the standard belt clips. I've had no troubles. Beltman makes a fine belt, have several of them.
