Smile Alessi IWB Holster Mod....

I had an Alessi IWB holster laying around that was too big for my XD 40 SC so in true McJiver fashion I took out the utility knife and got to work. After trimming it down almost 1.75 inches with the knife I chamfered the edge and then laid down some black ink with a Sharpie. The gun fits like a glove and the holster is back in service. I love it when everything works out. Now I can put that God-awful DeSantis monstrosity in the drawer forever.

Junk! DeSantis leather is like soggy paper compared to the Alessi.

Alessi Holsters has his shop only about 5 miles from my house. It's nice when you can stop over and get service at the counter. Nice guys over there too. Apparently his entire output is going to the D.O.J. so he has not been making any holsters for the retail market for about 2 years now. However, you can still walk in and purchase or get service over the counter without a problem.

Alessi

I recently received two holsters from Lou for my HK's. Now all my friends are interested after seeing real quality. He is one of the best.

I agree. With all the gimmickry and poor quality out there it is always nice to see how the pros do it.
