SA XD .40 SC in an Alessi IWB or a Walther PPS 9MM in a Don Hume IWB. Typically I wear Dockers or Jeans and a nice shirt & sport coat/blazer. I was carrying an LCP BUG but I felt a little odd being so strapped in the Lord's house. One gun and one well placed shot is enough. I trust He will steady my aim if it ever came down to crunch time.

If I wore a coat and tie...I'd stick out like an IRS agent at a BBQ...point taken though.

SmartCarry 24/7/365. So by default that would be in church also.

Friday Night Synagogue Carry

Winter (under sport coat and tie): Glock 23 in Tucker Gunleather "The Answer" IWB tuckable (worn outside the shirt). Spare mag on belt in a cell phone pouch. The jacket is later removed to transition to open carry for the meal after the service (VA law; no concealed carry in alcohol serving restaraunts).

Summer (open collar shirt/ no coat) Kahr MK9 in a Galco pocket holster. Spare mag on belt in a cell phone pouch. Paddle holster in the car for the open carry transition.

I'm trying to figure out a way to keep a spare mag or BUG in my kippah.

I smell a Reformer. You go pay to eat pork for your Shavat meal?

I think I could keep a fourth mag in my kippah if I put a little pocket in it.

I'm going to a Hebrew wedding and reception in October. I think it'll be a day that I leave my .45 at home. :D

I carry my Hi-Power in its MTAC, tucked. I usually wear a button-down shirt that blouses a little, and people usually can't even see the clips (not that most would know what they were, anyway).

I've carried this way while playing the piano on stage with my carry side to the congregation, and so far have gotten no indication that anyone has any clue that I'm carrying. With a pistol that big I do have to avoid bending over sharply, kneeling in front of folks, or being hugged - but my usual routine at church didn't include much of that even before I started carrying.

in peace

Are you accusing me of something?! I don't eat treif, but I hang with many Jews who do, not that my dietary practices or denominational affiliation is relevant to this gun forum topic. What's a Reformer?
