I laundered two holsters!!!

I was folding a pair of cargo pants and found two holsters. There was a neoprene pocket holster inside of an IWB leather holster. Some of the neoprene came off and stuck to the inside of the leather. The leather holster is a bit misshapen and still damp.

What now???

Can you still fit your pistol in the leather holster? Forget the nylon one, it's history. If you can fit your pistol in the leather holster, I'd recommend putting your pistol in it and letting it air dry. I wouldn't use a hair dryer. Then tomorrow, you may want to get some saddle soap or some leather care product to use once it's dry. Air drying may take a couple days or more. It should be salvageable. I've never had this happen, just what I would do if it did. I'm sure some of our holster makers would have better suggestions.

Probably your best bet would be to buy a water pistol.

Wrap your gun in plastic. Put the gun in and work in lightly any molding it had and then let it dry in front of a fan.

Most likely it is toast but it is worth a try.

Wash the gun so it matches.

Burl nailed it. Wrap your gun up....oil it first and stuff it in the holster....mold it back to shape and let it sit in front of a fan for about a day. It might still work......but its doubtful. Good luck and god bless

Sorry to hear that paramedic70002.
You've got a good chance that it works out, especially with suggestions from top holster makers!
Hope it turns out well.
