Proper Way To Use Desantis Nemesis

I just bought a Nemesis for my S&W 442. Can someone tell me if I am supposed to fold that end-piece of the holster over? If so, should it be folded towards my body (between my body and gun) or away from my body (between my gun and outside of my pocket)? It's really not that obvious.

Nope, just put it in your pocket just like it is. That piece is to keep it positioned right.

As stated, just put it in your pocket, the tail keeps it from rocking over.

Mine folded on it's own to conform to my leg.

I guess I never realized that pockets were that big. I'll be curious to see if I can fit this in a pocket for a regular pair of jeans.

That bottom flap will get a curve over time that conforms to your leg. It's there for stability and to help keep the holster in the pocket when you have to draw; DON'T fold it!

I find that the Nemisis with a J frame is a little to big for Levis or Wranglers but with khaki pants or shorts it seems to work very well. In the summer I am usually in shorts and I always have a S&W 638 in my front pocket. But when the weather gets a little cooler and I switch back to jeans, I go to IWB carry. As for the flap, that just kind of stays in place and conforms to your leg. Hope this helps.

I wear Wranglers 98% of the time. When I have borrowed my dad's 642, I've noted that the pocket is too small on the standard jeans and just right on the carpenter jeans.
