Kramer horsehide?
Ok so I've ordered a Kramer pocket holster for my colt cobra/agent revolvers and was wondering a couple of things. First is being I'm in Florida how well does horsehide repel moisture compared to cowhide? Also is the Kramer pocket holster thin and rigid? I have a leather cowhide pocket rig and it seems to absorb sweat and almost feels damp after being in my pocket all day,I've wiped down my colt cobra at the end of the day to find some surface rust spots. Will this happen with the horsehide rig?

First off no one does HH better than Kramer.
In its raw form HH is more moisture RESISTANT than Cowhide but after its finished, if done properly..Cowhide is close to the resistance that finished HH is. The clear coat we use helps Cowhide alot. There will always be better resistance with HH but not by that much. Most makers dont use the heavy dense HH for pocket holsters as it would be brutal trying to draw the gun...you dont want that much retention on them. Kramer very likely follow suit..... Shoot well and god bless

I have a cowhide Kramer pocket for my 442 and it works great year round. Does not absorb sweat at all.
