HBE New York Pro?

Do anyone have a New York Pro style holster from Eric? I have been using a DC special for a while from him and wondered about experiences with other styles he has.

Thanks

Thumbs up Pro TL

I have the Pro TL for my Model 36. Great holster!! Extremely comfortable and with the clip behind the trigger guard the gun dissapears. This is my 5th holster from Eric and all have been of the highest quality. I didn't see the New York Pro on his website, but can highly recommend the Pro TL. My camera decided to s--- the bed so I have no pics, but it is a beautifully crafted holster.

Thanks,

Judging by his pictures it has a higher body shield and some other minor differences and of course is not tuckable. I was wondering if a single clip would stabilize a large auto like the 229 I have. I have been looking for a long time to move up to a larger carry pistol but that may be a bit too big.

Thanks

Had one not long ago for one of my HK P7's. Great, well built rig but I don't do clip-on's, they just don't stay in place for me especially with a top heavy gun like the P7. If you can handle the clips I say go for it as Eric's one of the best!

I agree. Nicest clip-on holster I've tried. I tend to prefer holsters with split-loop design esp. for larger guns. But if you are looking for a clip-on, the NY Pro is superb. Here's one I recently sold that was made for a Kahr P9.

slimjim,

Sorry, I can't see your picture at work. Why did you sell it? I have not had any real complaints about the clips on my DC special but there is two of them and the p230 is way smaller than the p229 of course. I have been very please with the durability of Erics work and would like another.

Thanks

Only sold it because I bought it for a P9 that I never wound up purchasing. I used it a couple times for my PM9, it worked great.
