Kudos to Crossbreed

I've had my SuperTuck for about almost 4 weeks now. I love it. Well, I did something stupid on Friday and broke one of the clips. I emailed Mark about it and he told me they'd send out a new set on Monday. I received the new clips today. Now that's service!

I bought a holster from them last year and wanted a C clip instead of the J clip. I had no idea they would change em out for me for free.

Thanks again CB.

+1...I had a similar issue, though I don't think I did anything particularly silly to break my clip.

Using it to connect a tow rope to a pickup truck isn't silly, is it? ;)

Anyway, prompt service, prompt replacement, good to go.

Wow, lucky you!! I emailed them about a broken clip too, but they just replied back saying that they were working to make the design more durable. Did he say that it fell under the lifetime warranty? Maybe I need to shoot them another email.

Either you misread my reply or I misunderstood your email

We have never not replaced a broken clip with a new set.

We also do not charge for them if it's a breakage issue, some folks order extras, but we don't ask them too.

Email me again as I don't pay alot of attention to PMs
(see the post about it)

And yes we are working to increase the durability of the current design

Thanks

PS Cthulhu, stop pulling stuff with your pickup with 'em, I wondered why you ordered a set every week!

Short of laminating some spring steel, I don't know how anyone is going to keep from breaking the belt clips.

I have to make a new one for mine about once a month, but I have an extreme work environment. I am using .093" now, and am going to try some .125" when I get the money to order some.

Make them thick enough or big enough to last longer, then they are not so inconspicuous, more like a big flashing sign.

Might have to switch from Kydex to a different material.

Where is every ones breaking at? Mine is always at the top fold.
