Old Galco NSA...I thought a good price

I just bought ($80) a Galco NSA, the older version with belt loop and re-inforced mouth....why did Galco stop making these this way? What a nice holster....I can't find my camera or I'd post a pix....anyone out there have a series I?....the bag had a cloverleaf on it....rough outside, brown trim, horsehide, ambi...sweet.

I used to have one of those and loved it, it was the first holster that made me consider IWB carry a full time possibility. This was back in the days when Galco and Bianchi was all I knew and from there I went on to find out about Mitch Rosen's ARG and the whole custom holster field.

I've often wondered if Rosen had something to do with Galco dropping that model from their lineup, but have no way of knowing.

With the single rear loop they were infamous for rotating out of the waistband when drawing.

Sounds like a bad belt issue. I never had a problem with that holster and used if for a couple of years, and I've never had a problem with any of my Rosen ARG's. I've got plenty of dual loop IWB's now and do prefer them slightly, but I still use my ARG's too.
