Thumbs up Haugen Handgun Leather

I had heard good things about this particular holster and I must say I'm not disappointed. In fact, wow! Ordered on August 01, received out of the blue on October 23. Not a bad wait time at all, and more than worth it.

Thanks Jerry!

Nice looking holster. Looks like the leather is really thick.

Looks great but it does look like REALLY thick leather. Can you compare the thickness to any other holsters you have? Looks like it woudl be a thick package, especially with the reinforcement at the mouth.

Next question; how tight does it hold the gun to your side and especially how well does it hold the butt of the gun in? I love that style of holster for comfort but some hold the weapon closer to your side than others?

Sure does look pretty!!

Nice rig!

Looks like a compact........right? Steel or alloy?

Thanks guys. I have not had a chance to really wear it yet, just around the house so far. It does ride really well, up high and tucked in very tight. The butt of the gun does not stick out at all and it firm against my side. I really like it. Forgot to take a picture of the excellent mag carrier...

The leather is not as thick as it looks in the last picture (it kind of has a "tooled" lip on the muzzle end, making it look thick at that angle. I guess for extra protection?), but it is thicker than the run-of-the-mill holsters. Very good quality leather.

The gun is a all steel CQB Compact.
