Ove year? That's just wild. I love my Max con V that I got from Gary 2 years ago, and I waited 4 months, which I considered long but worth it for such fine quality work (much easier to deal with once I had it and could see the quaity). But I don't know if I could handle waiting a year. Glad that you've got it and that you're happy. Gary does fantastic work.
