Looks like a nice option for when I go hunting. I carry my 30-06 in the holder of my Cabela's back pack. So if I come across a bear or coyote on the way in, I cannot get to it. Right now I carry one of my Glocks in a drop leg because there is too much gear in the way for any belt holster.
But this holster might work nice with my Ruger Security Six .357.

It’s not leather but I had a Grizzly Tuff made for my 7 ½” 44 Redhawk and really like it. My 7 ½ 45lc Vaquero also fits nicely in it
