Thumbs up First Impression: TT Gunleather Holster for XD45

Well just about four hours ago I received my order from TT Gunleather. My first impression is extremely positive, fit and finish is outstanding and my XD and spare mag both fit snugly. I had an opportunity to wear it for about three hours while I prepped our generator for winter and cycled out last years gas from the spare cans as well. Then I worked on the yard a bit. My gun was snug against my body the entire time, nothing came lose, everything is as expected. Tim did a fantastic job. I placed my order mid July, so turnaround from payment to delivery was about 15 weeks. While this is significantly higher than the estimates on Tim's web page, he did frequently updated his site to indicate the week he was actually working on and warning that he had received a lot of orders that were backing up his workload.

I had a few minutes to shoot some quick photos (sorry for the lint, etc).

Nice color, superb trim...nicely boned, too!

Well done, grasshopper...you are now ready for the world.

Beautiful! I am expecting one of Tim's Slim IWB's in a couple weeks.

How low on the belt does that holster ride? TIA

I've been looking at his holsters lately and great to hear that you like yours. It is a very nice piece... love that color combination. Enjoy it!

Wow that looks really nice!

I think Tim makes some great leather. I own 4 of his holsters and would even venture to say his leather is on par with Milt Sparks! He will even do custom details for his customers. My last rig was for a slim G26 IWB and asked Tim to put some extra curve on the rig because I like how it hugs my hip. He is great to deal with and I highly reccomend ordering from him. 2 month wait vs 5 months from Sparks and the leather is just as good!
