I'm with you on this. Nobody ever looks twice.

What's a tie?
Smartcarry is not the best option for portly fellows. If you've got a belly to reach around or move to the side, you've lost all tactical advantage.

I have successfully and comfortably carried a Ruger SR9 in a Crossbreed Supertuck with shirt and tie (no jacket) on numerous occasions. The only proble for me is the actual tucking of the shirt. Once done, no problems at all.

+1 on a Crossbreed SuperTuck!

I carry a Sig P239 every day in one tucked and have never had a problem. I've posted this before, but here's a couple of write ups I did on it.

Hidden Defense: Crossbreed SuperTuck: Long-Term Review

The UC's got a shorter muzzle so it probably won't have the exposed muzzle issue I had with my P239.

I had a similar situation since I wear a suit to work every day but often times have the jacket off in the office. Normally I carry my 1911 IWB when not at work but needed something that would work during the work week as well. I actually picked up a S&W J-frame which I now either carry with a pocket holster or ankle holster. Works great for the work day and is actually must easier during the summer months as well (shorts and tee-shirts).

I have a friend that has a smart carry and complained of this problem, he can only use it with sweats or gym shorts. Tried IWB, not going there again "OUCH!" Pocket carry a J frame sounds great if I can get one that the grip doesn't poke out of the pocket. Maybe I just need to get pants with bigger pockets and buy a snubbie.
