Shirt and Tie Problems

I own a 45 ultra carry that I love, but have trouble between formal dress attire and concealment. I don't own a suit or jacket (sport coat) and carry owb due to excess flesh around the waist. Would like to go without jacket since I get hot easily. Thinking about mousegun for pocket carry, but like my edc. Any options you can think of to carry my 45, or just get a jacket and sweat?

Smart Carry is an idea, plus there are plenty of tuckable IWB holsters to check out. The only that would be exposed are the clips.

1) Get some vests.
2) Find a comfortable, tuckable IWB holster.
3) Smartcarry.
4) Pocketcarry. I like my J-frame for this, it's still got some power with +P loads and it's very light.

Freight Train...

I recently had to attend a wedding with my girlfriend. I chose to carry my Ruger LCP IWB under a tucked in shirt.

I usually carry OWB or IWB (depending on gun / holster combination) under an untucked shirt of some kind. The Ruger was so small and hidden, I literally didn't notice it was there (made me a little worried a couple of times.)

Anyway, you could try something similar with you ultra carry. Mine is pretty small, although I've never tried to tuck in anything over it.

A 38 in the pocket beats a 45 at home in the safe.

You're gonna' have to go extremely "mousey" to gain much concealment advantage over an Ultra Carry (nice choice, by the way). Is this a masked, unconscious plea for an excuse to buy a PD340 & some nice Kramer pocket leather? Because if it is - any old excuse is much better...than no reason at all!

The nice thing about being a poor Indian and allways dressing like a hillbilly. No body expects me to look different. I wear extra large loose fitting clothes, extra long shirttails never tucked in. I can hide almost anything and never change my look.

Wait a minute, you're supposed to dress like a poor indian...I'm supposed to dress like a hillbilly! Let's not confuse our racial stereotypes.

A KelTec P-3AT in the pocket can get you from the car, to the office, and back to the car (where you have the .45) every day.

Stay armed...with something...stay safe!
