I've used this type for years, and it's as good as they get and only $37.

I have the CTAC and the Infidel holsters from Comp-tac. I just recently got the Crossbreed Supertuck for my G30SF and I have to tell you, it is a LOT more comfortable, especially when sitting or driving. In addition, my G21SF also fits in the holster, just not as snug as the 30 due to the 30 having a taller rail. The clips absolutely hold the rig in place and if you want more retention, just get a blow dryer and some wet rags and you can modify the retention of the kydex on the trigger area.
With regards to the muzzle being exposed, it is too little on my G30sf and since I don't carry the 21 too often, I am not worrying about it. I have no experience with the MTAC though. from what I hear they are very good. The review on the CB were so good that I wanted to give it a try. I am very happy with my decision. |

Both arrived today!
I ordered both the MTAC and the Crossbreed Supertuck, and both arrived in today's mail. Big hat tip to both companies for a very fast delivery, especially near Christmas!
First, the Supertuck, for my Walther PPKS. ![]() ![]() ![]() The, the MTAC, for my Springfield XD subcompact 40: ![]() ![]() ![]() Both are left-handed. One thing I noticed is that I need bigger pants, since mine are not loose at all and not meant for carrying. Somehow, they've shrunk over the years. ![]() As to the holsters, both fit the guns extremely well. The MTAC, in horsehide natural, is nicely made and finished. The Supertuck is in black cowhide, and a little less fancy-looking, but well done. Both fit well with a t-shirt and not-so-loose pants. I am wearing the Supertuck around the house now with the Walther, to break it in, and will do the same with the MTAC later this week. I am awaiting my CHL from Texas anyway (should be any day) so not carrying at the moment.
