need an appendix carry holster recommendation
OK, I have been searching for an appendix carry holster and while I have identified several, I have not found one that is perfect. I have gravitated to appendix carry this summer – used to carry OWB at 3:00 in a pancake holster but that was not concealable enough for summer. I also have a VMII that I like for IWB at 3:00 (never could get used to behind the hip). I have successfully used both a Crossbreed SuperTuck and CompTac MTAC for IWB appendix carry, but neither is perfect for that. Several of the adjustable cant holsters in my drawer should work but they all allow the gun (G26 or G23) to ride too high which causes it to lean out from my body.
Can anyone recommend either an IWB or OWB for appendix carry that holds the gun close to the body?

I have a couple of Comp Tac 2 O'clock appendix carry holsters: easy on and off, reasonably priced and QUICK delivery. (and of course, Smarties!)

Thanks. The CompTac 2 O'clock and the Tucker were on my short list. I should have added one more thing to my original post. I can't seem to get holsters with a single loop or clip to be stable enough for me so I was looking for something with two loops/clips spaced apart as little. My MTAC, SuperTuck, and VMII prooved to me that two loops/clips are much more stable than one. with that criteria, I have narrowed it down to ACR (Raven Concealment), Joab Apendic Carry (Dale Fricke), or The Answer (Tucker). Any others you guys can recommend?

I use a Mitch Rosen Upper Limit Express (OWB) for my Kahr PM9. Rides high and keeps the gun snug against the body. You can't beat it for $75.

I carry my XD9SC appendix in a Highnoon Mr Softy more than any other way (or with any other holster). It's nothing fancy but does the job well for me.
Pic shows wear it rides. |
