Check with the manufacturer of your holster for there recommendations. Here is a link to K&D Holsters care instructions
K&D Holsters | Custom Gun Leather and Shooting Accessories
Just scroll to the bottom of the page and read what Kevin has to say about it.

Can't go wrong with Kiwi Neutral shoe polish and a good buff.

True... The Belt Man even sells it and recommends it. He used to say just use Kiwi neutral shoe polish, but claims this stuff is much better.

I use it on my belt.

I use neatsfoot oil on my boots, belts, pocket holster, any leather that is not sealed it will soften and condition. Stay away from the neatsfoot oil compound-that is mostly fish oil.

All those are good; I found it was easier to apply if the leather is slightly warm (NOT HOT !!!) just comfortable to the touch.
Better several light coats a few daysapart than one heavy coat.

IMO - not good for holsters due to over conditioning and breakdown of already well conditioned leather.

Sparks recommends Renaissance Wax. I bought a can years ago, and it is magic. A very small amount goes a long way. I totally disagree with the use of Neatsfoot oil. Anything that softens leather should NOT be used on a fine holster!
