roughout or smoothout
What exactly is the difference between roughout and smoothout. I was checking out the TUCKER GUNLEATHER holsters, and saw this option. Can anyone recommend the tuckable leather holster (double kydex clips) ? thansk

"Rough Out" has the flesh side of the leather hide as the exterior of the rig with the Top Grain inside and next to the firearm.

Pocket holsters are sometimes built rough side out to aid in pocket retention of the holster during draw. The "Summer Special" IWB holster also built roughside out to aid in keeping the holster in the waistband during draw.
