Galco holsters

I just ordered a Galco Scout IWB from LA Police Gear for my new to me Colt Agent (alloy frame Detictive Special).I'll have it in 5 days instead of 6wks to 5 months wait for a custom.
Has anyone used Galco before, what are your opinions?

I have a couple of different Galcos, they are a good value IMO.

Galco is a great choice for stock holsters. I have 3 and they hold up well. Enjoy.

I have a few Galco holsters as well, and I think they're great. They are all very well made holsters. Good luck with it.

They are a good off the shelf holster. I think they are priced a little high, mine is a little soft. Most of us have to have something fast so we have a Galco or Bianchi, while we wait 4 to 6 months for a custom. They do offer a big selection though. My Galco does fit my gun belt, but my Bianchi doesn't.

I agree. I have several and they are just as good for what they do as the custom ones that cost 2 or 3 times as much with a LOOOOONG wait!

I love their OWB holsters, but I've found that their IWB rigs are lacking.

just tried to order a galco holster that they said was in stock for my boss's xd40. Paid extra to have it 2nd day air. Over a week later it still had not shown up. Upon calling, they said "oh it just shipped out today, should be there in 2 days."

called back 3 days later: "I'm not sure, I'll have to have the shipping department call you tomorrow, that's their matter."

no call next day.

day after, we call back: "your holster should be shipping in the next few days"

the order was canceled and now he is looking elsewhere for a holster.

Hopefully your experience with them is better.

That definitely put a bad taste in my mouth and I will never order a holster from them.
