Galco Combat Master Question
Has anyone tried the Galco Combat Master holster with a 1911 equipped with Crimson Trace grips ?
If so, I'm wondering if the holster is designed to go over the CT laser ? From their web site picture, it looks like there might be a distinct area tooled into the holster where the laser would be, but the angle of the picture doesn't let me see if that area bulges out a little to make room for the laser housing on the grips. If you use this kind of a setup, I'd sure like to hear back from you. Thanks ! ![]() |

I prefer the Galco Concealable. It's made like figure A in this picture:
![]() I believe the Combat Master is more like figure B. I have a few and they carry large or small weapons very well. I'm not sure about the laser but think it'd work with the Concealable. Here my Concealable with a G-23: Not a great picture though.![]()

I like my Galco Side Snap Scabbard! Not sure how that helps, but I figured I would just throw it out there...

Thumper and BeefyBeefo, thank you both for your replies and information.
Thumper - I appreciate the pictures, I'll try to locate a Concealeable on e-bay today. BeefyBeefo - I already have the Side Snap Scabbard for several of my other guns and have one on my order from my local indy dealer, was trying to find something to use that I could get fast while I wait on it to come in. Y'all are the best, thanks again ! ![]() |

For that specific of a question, I'd recommend contacting Galco's customer service directly. I've spoken to them on numerous occasions, always found them quite knowledgeable and helpful.
When it comes to purchasing Galco, I go direct only when the discounter doesn't have my item in stock and Galco does. I first check places like Product Wizard and L.A. Police Gear. Besides substantial discounts, they often provide free shipping on minimal orders (ie; $50 or more) which can be a sizable savings in itself.
