I Broke my Looper Leather Belt

The kydex liner broke between the fourth and fifth holes this afternoon. I hope I can pay to have it repaired as I really like the belt.

I guess I should buy a backup belt. A local shop has a 5.11Tactical trainer belt for about 30 bucks, is this a decent belt to use for concealed carry?

Go with Sparks, Brommeland, or the Beltman and get yourself a Christmas present that will last you a lifetime.

One of my leather Gould and Goodrich's cracked the same way. My local dealer had it replaced so fast under warranty my head almost spun. No problem with my second one.

Depending upon how long you have had the belt and how it has broken, I'd call Looper Leather directly. It's a family business and I'm fairly certain they may surprise you. OMO

I needed a belt fast and looked everywhere. Ended up where I have bought several holsters...DM Bullard. Free shipping for the holidays and it only took a week or so for a really nice gun belt.

Personally, If you want a nylon belt I'd go with a Wilderness 5 Stitch Belt!

I ordered it back in Jan. of this year. I'll give them a call Monday.
Thanks to everyone for the suggestions and replies.

First, if the 5.11 belt you refer too is the knock off of the Wilderness Instructor belt, you can get the 5.11 for about half that. Second, I have two of the 5.11 belts, and don't like them at all.

I also recommend the Wilderness belt, it's the original, the real deal. I wear one every day. For more endorsement, they are stocked and sold by people who know what is important in gun belts, including Milt Sparks Holsters Inc. and Gunsite.

The 5 stitch Thumper suggested is what these folks stock. Also what I wear.
