Sparks VM2 or Null UNS for 5" 1911?
Hi all I was wondering which of these two IWB rigs you feel is better for comfortable CCW of a 5" steel 1911? I have and love a Null UNS for a colt officers ACP Nd love it,but obviously a 5" steel 1911 is another matter.
I really love Ken's stuff his holsters are top end no doubt. That being said I've heard good things about sparks VM2 as well. Also I do have a Null gunbelt as well as a rafters belt so a good solid belt will be used for either one of these rigs. So which of these rigs gets the nod for most concealable/comfortable? |

Considering the Sparks VM2 is probably the most sought after holster of all time, you can probably guess the answer here.

I've got 4 VM-2's an no UNS's, so I'm not the best guy to ask. Had a look at the site, they do look nice. Seem to compare more to the Executive Companian in the Sparks line than the VM-2. Looks like either would be a worthwhile choice. The Null is a bit pricey, but I am guessing it is really well made. How long is the wait with Null?

I also say the UNS. I have a bad back and the design really speads the weight of the gun better that a VMII or like holster. Lou also told me about Ken and as noted thats about as high a recommendation as you can get!

Given the OP's listed options, and considering the gun to be carried, I'd have to go with the VMII. While I have not had the other Null holster in question, I've carried similar IWBs and would have to go with the VMII, it just wears more comfortably and distributes the weight more efficiently.
